The downsides

What we'd want to know before paying for each one.

Tradify

You pay per person, so a team of four on Pro is £148 a month. Electrical and gas certificates are on Pro and above, not Lite. Leaving means exporting each section to CSV separately.

Powered Now

The £28 Business plan is for one person only. Forms, certificates and Xero sync start on Professional at £32 per user, which is the plan most sparks and gas engineers will need.

ServiceM8

Pricing follows how many jobs you create, so a run of small call-outs can move you up a tier. It was built for iPhone first; check the Android app does what you need before your team commits.

Fergus

At £39 to £45 per user it costs the most of the four. For one person sending quotes and invoices, much of what you pay for will go unused.

How we compared them

We read each company's UK pricing and feature pages in October 2026. We haven't run them on live jobs, so treat this as a shortlist, not a final answer, and use the free trials before you commit.

We have no deal with any of these 4, so every link on this page is a plain link and we earn nothing from it. How we make money
